Day 3 -  Deba, Spain

 

 

When you are walking El Camino, sometimes you have one kilometer left, and your body says NO, but your mind is like… I need to get there because I'm hungry, I need a bed to sleep in, and … I need to shower!!. So the connection between mind and body, and how you can kind of push yourself a little more than your body tells you can.

 

Another lesson is knowing that I'm not alone, you're also walking with God, he's present, you can kind of see his Creation. One thing that stood out to me is the word Artists, There's Something Beautiful about the mountains, the water, the land, the green, that just can't happen like that…something-someone's behind it.  There's more there. So the word ARTISTS come to me, I never thought about God as an artist before. ​
