In 2022, I carried out an audiovisual project about the pilgrims of the Camino de Santiago in Spain. Together with two companions, we traveled the Camino del Norte from Irún, joined the Camino Primitivo in Oviedo, and finished in Santiago de Compostela.
During the journey, we connected with people from different nationalities and backgrounds, all with fascinating stories, willing to share part of their lives, their time, and their essence in a portrait.
I feel immense gratitude for this unexpected and rewarding experience. I was struck by the kindness that still exists in people. The greatest lesson I learned is that we share this beautiful planet to serve and connect with one another.
Un viaje sin retorno. Encontrar almas bellas en el camino, fue inesperado y reconfortante poder conectar con personas que tienen tanto por contar y ofrecer, dispuestas a compartir parte de su vida, de su tiempo y de su esencia en un retrato.
